Surf Report Info

Region: Perth City tp Trigg Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Poor

Sunday: Messy conditions on offer this morning with SW winds in the 15-20kt range. There's a westerly swell throwing up waves in the shoulder high region, but it's not looking too inviting due to the onshore flow. Rotto swell buoy reading 2.6m @ 14 seconds with an upward trend. The good news is that the conditions are stirring the sand up a bit. Look for that wind to ease throughout the day.
