Surf Report Info

Region: Perth City tp Trigg Beach

Reporters location:

Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. Please consider there may be possible variations between this report and your local spot due to differences in orientation to the coast and any local idiosyncrasies that may also effect the swell and weather patterns.

    Today's rating - Pretty Good

Monday: Not looking too bad this morning with light NE winds and a slight bump in swell. We have mostly clean 1-2ft waves showing with the odd bigger set shaping up from Scarbs to Trigg. Near glassy with some N'ly bump. Worth a paddle. Rottnest buoy reading 1.9m @ 12seconds.

Morning of the Earth Surfboards

For some the modern short board will never make sense. To me there are elements of the past that are still viable today, when blended with all we have learnt in the past.

Shaped for the last 40+ years. Some have been for the worlds best surfers. More importantly I’ve taken great pride in every shape.

Surf Culture Bondi

Surf Culture is a ‘core’ surf store located in the heart of the Eastern Suburbs.

MG Surfboards

Mauricio Gil has been intrigued by the art of making surfboards almost as long as he has been a surfer.

Outer Island Surfboards

In an age when the soul of surfing is run by surfing corporations and the art of shaping has gone to the machines, at Outer Island we are holding on to the grass roots.
