Friday: Cross shore SSE winds early and a bumpy small swell. Waves in the 1-2ft range from Scarbs to Trigg with the odd bigger set. An improvement on yesterday but still only for the keen. Exposed beaches the pick with a few OK little wind affected peaks on offer. Local buoys reading 1.5m @ Rotto and 0.6m @ Cott @ 12second period.

Forecast for Friday until midnight Winds South to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots easing to 10 to 15 knots north of Rottnest Island during the afternoon and tending south to southeasterly below 10 knots throughout in the late evening. Seas 1 to 1.5 metres. Swell Southwesterly 1.5 to 2 metres. Weather 20% chance of a shower early this morning. Mostly sunny afternoon.
