Lauren L. Hill is a surfer, writer, and perpetual question-asker that hails from a small barrier island off the coast of Florida, but now resides on the Far North Coast.

After leaving the world of competitive longboarding, Lauren went on to earn degrees in Environmental and Social Science where she developed a refreshing insight into our natural environment that she now shares with the Coastalwatch community.

She currently serves as a brand ambassador for Billabong, Bing Surfboards, and Sanuk Footwear. Lauren’s work continues to revolve around marine conservation and gender as they relate to surf culture. You can follow her on Instagram @TheSeaKin
