Swell Alert Issued 22 September 2016.

In the wake of a pretty subdued spring-season of waves across the Eastern Seaboard thus far, we’re finally looking at the imminent onset of a large S swell event across the region. A large spike in S swell peaking on Friday will be mostly confined to the southern half of the NSW coast, owing to the close-range of the swell producing winds to the South Coast. While this event isn’t exactly in the same, swell-of –a-lifetime league like what we saw back in June, it will provide some solid overhead options as it peaks on Friday, with plenty of mid-sized leftovers following as swell direction swings SE over the weekend.
