Phenomenal Weather Covers The Streets in Eerie Foam

"The night before this day I was driving home through there and the road was blocked, so my girlfriend and I went crawling through the foam that night not knowing it was full of sea lice.

After a night of not being able to sleep, because it burns your legs and doesn't wash off all too well, I woke to see a video on Facebook that someone had posted from their apartment building and it was ten times heavier than the night before, so I drove down there again and it was two metres deep on the road. Scores of kids would be playing in it having the time of their lives than 20 minutes later they'd be crying from the lice.

It was like a tourist attraction, they had to shut off the whole main road along the coast and everyone was down there taking photos, it was the first day the rain had stopped so everyone was out and about shaking off the cabin fever, it was like an unofficial Australia day. You could say the foam brought the community together in a way.

Last year the floods we had were ten times worse, we got off a lot better this time. Wind wise it was hectic though, a proper tornado touched down on the ground, took down a lot of trees. Most people were without power for a couple of days, I didn't get power back till monday night."
