Oceans are fundamental to the health of our planet, but when more than 8 million tonnes of plastic is dumped into the ocean it shows the general public aren’t paying as much attention to the importance of our oceans.

According to WWF, over 80% of marine pollution comes from land-based activities and not only can this have a massive impact on marine life but it can also have a serious effect on us as humans. The latest infographic from DiveIn has taken a look at the damaging effects of ocean pollution and what we can do to stop this behaviour.
