It's hard to imagine how good Taj Burrow might be in the kitchen, but you're about to have the opportunity to find out. Burrow will join Tom Carroll and Eamon Sullivan along with a VIP list of the finest chefs in Western Australia.

The SurfAid Surfing Chefs events have been a huge success since their inception in 2011 by Chef Russell Blaikie of Must Winebar, who called on his mates to cook for free. Those mates called on their mates to provide produce, beer, wine and auction items. An amazing event was born which has raised crucial funds for a number of SurfAid projects.

"Surfing Chefs for SurfAid is about partnering a line-up of amazing chefs who surf with some of the greatest surfers in the world to cook, party, and raise funds for the important work of SurfAid. Over the years, we’ve raised close to $300,000 for SurfAid’s lifesaving work in the remote islands of Indonesia." Said Blaikie.

After the success of the Bondi Surfing Chefs event at Bondi, the team again head to Western Australia with an epic lineup including; Taj Burrow, Tom Carroll, MC Eamon Sullivan (Bib & Tucker), Russell Blaikie (Must Winebar), Scott Bridger (Bib & Tucker), Aaron Carr (Vasse Felix), Tony Howell (Morries Anytime, The Common, White Elephant), Dany Angove (Leeuwin Estate), Herb Faust (Herb Faust Food), and Paul 'Yoda' Iskov (Fervor).

Be part of the event on Thursday 27 October 2016 at 6.30PM at the Bib & Tucker (18 Leighton Beach Blvd, North Fremantle in your best beach cocktail attire.

You can purchase tickets to three areas of the event including;

  • Kitchen Bench - SOLD OUT
  • VIP $195 pp (includes table service)
  • Cocktail $130 pp (canape cocktail service)
