  • Today's rating - Average

Updated 9.00am: There's still a tiny wave to be had if you're keen. There's still some small SSE lines in the 1ft range with the very odd larger set approaching 2ft, but you'll need a lot of foam and patience at your disposal. It looks perfect for long conversations between sets. Winds are light offshore and forecast to drop to light and variable, so it's still a great day to get in the water.

For some the modern short board will never make sense. To me there are elements of the past that are still viable today, when blended with all we have learnt in the past.
