Alex Headland Surf Report

Outlook Info

Larger SSE groundswell holds potential for stronger sets nudging the 3 to 5ft range at breaks focussing the southerly direction, while wrapping at anywhere from 2 to 4ft elsewhere depending on where you look, with offshore WSW to SW winds opening up no shortage of good options throughout the day.

If you're happy to hit the road on the search for some of the southerly swell that is sweeping by the coast, by all means head to those south facing swell magnets as that is where all the action will be. Wave height should get up to the overhead range on said beaches with smaller surf along the main beaches not exposed to the swell and even smaller in those southern corners. Surf conditions will be great all day with WSW/SW winds. The patrolled beaches of Mooloolaba, Alex and Noosa are the pick of the beaches for that winters dip in the briny. Enjoy your day in the waves. Spinksy
