Outlook Info

Fading Easterly tradewind swell continues at about 2ft+ along exposed breaks, while wrapping at 1 to 2ft inside the points and bays with size depending on exposure. WIND: Early light West to SW inshore, tending variable/ calm, then North to NNE tending NNW 10 knots in the afternoon.

The Easterly swell is easing, coughing up waves in the 2-3ft range along the open beaches. Surf conditions are looking the best early under SSW winds, ahead of ESE winds strengthening through the day. The central beaches of Twin Waters, Maroochydore, and the south coast beaches of Dicky Beach through to Currimundi with some smaller surf on the points will be the best of the locations. Enjoy your day in the waves. Spinksy.
