Outlook Info

Easing Easterly tradewind swell continues to range from 2 to 3ft along exposed coasts, grading smaller along the points and inside the bays with size depending on exposure. WIND: Early light WSW to SW land-breezes, tending S to SE around 10 knots during the day, then Easterly later.

    Updated 24 Apr 2019 @ 5:09 AM (local)

Onshore winds from the ESE continue with wind affected surf conditions along the open beaches. The Easterly swell has eased some with waves in the 2-3ft size and expect larger set waves with the mornings incoming tide. The points of inside Moffats, Point Cartwright, The Bluff and Corner at Alex are the best options, and if you can handle the crowds, Noosa's points offering some smaller cleaner surf. Enjoy your day in the waves. Spinksy.
