SURF OUTLOOK

Background Easterly swell receives a slight boost this morning; effectively maintaining sets in the 2ft range along the more exposed open beaches, grading to tiny levels along the points and inside the bays. Well worth going earlier rather than later as light NW to NNW winds at 5 to 10 knots see good conditions, before they turn Northerly, NNE 10 to 20 knots in the arvo.

Not alot on offer with the smaller easterly swell producing waves in the 2ft size across the open beaches with the odd larger set wave on the northern exposed beaches. Surf conditions are rather lumpy under light west winds ahead of north easterlies developing through the day. Best to hit early and make the most of the decreasing swell. A northern pocket will offer sheltered conditions once the onshore winds kick in. Enjoy your day in the waves. Spinsky
