Sunshine Coast Regional Morning Report (Sunday 5:48am): Be prepared with not much on offer other than a shortrange NNE windswell on offer today which is already been affected by NNW winds. Wave height is in the knee to thigh range along the more exposed NE facing open beaches and we have just hit the bottom of the tide. Low Tide 5:05am. If you are keen the northern sheltered corners are offering a smaller slightly cleaner wave, with Kings Beach, Happy Valley looking the best of the patrolled beaches.
Rest of Day Outlook: Make the most of the morning as the Northerly winds will strengthen up to 20-25 knots through the day, deteriorating surf conditions even further. The NNE windswell will pick up in height coupled with the stronger winds and incoming tide around midday, with choppy peaky waves on offer. High Tide 12:03pm
