Sunshine Beach Surf Report

Outlook Info

Easterly tradewind swell picks up into the 3 to 4ft range along exposed coast this morning, with scope for more size this afternoon. The downside is fresh onshore ESE winds getting up to 15 to 20 knots this morning, so the points might be a better bet for some smaller, cleaner waves throughout the day. WIND: SE to ESE 10 to 20 knots.

Swell days forecasted with more of the similar conditions expected with increasing waves and winds over the next couple of days and the weekend ahead. Get out early on the exposed headlands and open beaches for the best conditions with the brief offshore breezes before the southeast onshore winds take affect, light to start with though 20 knots winds forecasted for the afternoon. The sheltered southern corners of the coast again offering small clean rides with endless amount of takers on the surfing reserve of Noosa. Easterly swell direction continues sending waves into all coast locations with solid shore breaks on offer with the tide in. Enjoy.
