Gold Coast Regional Morning Report: 6.15 am Thursday, 4th March: There's a mixed back of small south and SE swells being greeted by light SSW inshore winds this morning, opening up fun surf in the chest to head-high realm along the exposed beaches, while wrapping at a fun looking waist to shoulder high along the points. It's a bit grey and gloomy, but there's a few waves to be had. The tide is low and will fill in to an 11.48 am high, before dropping to a 6.00 pm low.
Rest of the Day Outlook: A consistent run of south swell supplies the region with fun-sized surf as moderate south-easterlies settle in around 10-15 knots during the morning before gradually easing in strength this arvo, effectively keeping fun rideable option open all day. Have a great Thursday.
