Northern NSW Regional Morning Report: 6.30 am Sunday, 24th January: The waves are way much smaller this morning, knee-high on the beach breaks and only just breaking on the Points. Dead calm conditions before the northerly wind blows in. High tide was at 6.30 am low tides at 12.45 pm. Beach break options are the best chance. Use a small wave board with lots of litreage, mal, or perfect for learning how on a SUP, make the most of a declining SE swell. On the poor to average side but worth getting wet to enjoy the warm water temp at 25c. Enjoy your Sunday!
Rest of the Day Outlook: Surf forecast. Average 1 – 2ft+ am to 1 – 3ft ENE swell. Potential for smaller leftover SSE swell, reinforced by leading, long-period S groundswell in the late arvo. Light winds early, tending NE and freshening later.
Weather Mostly sunny.
Tides. HIGH 6:25 am 1.44 m LOW 12:44 pm 0.72 m HIGH 6:13 pm 1.14 m
