Born into the surfing lifestyle, Jye Byrnes was destined to become a shaper. Jye has travelled the world competing on all manner of craft from shortboards to longboards and everything in between. Day to day, Jye ride boards from all eras of the surfboard evolutionary timeline. He is best described as a life-long student of surfboard design and is equally passionate about creating a ‘retro’ fish, magical mid-length, high-performance shortboard or the perfect log. Jye has 20 years’ experience shaping and manufacturing surfboards and has worked for a industry leaders. Jye takes immense pride in his work and is personally involved in the manufacturing process of your surfboard from start to finish.
