    Summary
There’s no shortage of swell brewing inside the bight this week. We are now tracking a new significant storm development below West Australia that shows a broad SW fetch extending out of the southwest Indian Ocean. This system is forecasted to undertake a slow eastward movement and stall under the bight over the next 48hrs, where it is due to take on a secondary deepening of its core, and therefore, additional W and SW swell development midweek.
We could see the initial SW swell move in Tuesday followed by a larger and solid impact of SW swell Thursday and Friday. However, strong shifty winds will be very difficult under the frontal movement of the storm across SA and will need to be monitored for conditions.

The initial formation of the low under WA is slightly slower than last week’s projections, but at the same time, this will presents a new round of SW groundswell; building in across the state throughout Tuesday. This holds potential for inconsistent sets under a lightened SE to NE wind.
