Oceania Surfing Cup 2006 - Samoa

The 10th annual Oceania Surfing Cup, will take place in the South Pacific nation of Samoa from the 17th – 24th January, 2006. The event is the premier international indigenous surfing event. The Oceania Surfing Cup is not only a sporting event but also a cultural experience. Indigenous representatives from south Pacific nations share their unique culture through song, dance, food, customs and stories.

Expressions of interest are now being sought from Indigenous Australian surfers who would like to compete in the championships.
