We're well into winter and on the east coast it's time for the winter south swells to start rolling in. Of course, it is a hard act to follow after such a phenomenal east coast low two weeks ago. The swell event as Vaughan Blakey, Surfing World editor put it "It brought mythology back to people's home breaks." So what's next? This weekend will see good waves. Check out where to be any when. 

TRACK THIS SWELL ON THE COASTALWATCH WAVE TRACKER

SUMMARY: Large S swell event to impact the NSW coast this weekend.

SWELL ORIGIN: Deep Tasman Low

PEAK SWELL: 6 to 8ft plus on Saturday.

BEST DAYS: Sunday and Monday.

SURFABLE AREAS: Southern corners on Saturday, all exposed breaks holding the swell.
