Pristine conditions at Dbah on the weekend saw Queensland Junior State Titles second round take shape with one of the hotly contested prizes, a place at the 2017 Quiksilver and Roxy Pro Trials.

Burleigh Heads' Liam O'Brien and Zahli Kelly from Wooloowin were the winners of their boys and girls under 18's divisions and will now line-up with some of the best up-and-coming surfers in the country at the first event of the World Championship Tour for 2017 as well as representing Queensland along with Piper Harrison and Kai Tandler at the Australian Surfing Titles at Phillip Island later this year.
