Are you going to be in or around Torquay next week? Canon has an amazing opportunity for budding photographers.

Join Jay Collier and Scott Stramyk from Canon Collective for an exclusive experience photographing the world's best surfers at the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach. Book your spot in and you will receive 3 hours use (on a shared basis) of Canon's professional range of EOS cameras including; the EOS 1DX Mark II, 5D Mark IV or 7D Mark II as well as the L-series telephoto lenses including the 600mm f/4L, 500mm f4L, 400mm f2.8L, 400mm f4L DO and 200-400mm f4L IS with built-in 1.4x extender.

Techniques covered: Using telephoto lenses, shooting action and sport photography, and surf photography.

Recommended equipment: Please remember to bring the cameras and lenses recommended above. Loan equipment will be provided for your booked session times only. You may use your own gear outside of your session time.

  • Please note that as places are very limited that only 1x session per person over the total number of sessions and dates available is allowed. Any multiple sessions booked will be cancelled.
  • There is no guarantee that surfing will commence during your booked session times as the competition is run inline with swell conditions.
  • In the case of low swell, the competition day will be either delayed or cancelled until the swell conditions return to competition standards.
  • For any guests who book and attend a session where no surfing has commenced during your session time, a refund of $49 for the event session will be provided.
