Ahhh… those wonderful words “Burleigh Heads” and “Surf Festival”. Together they form the greatest sentence in the English language, because this month the famed pointbreak is treating us to a second helping of goodtimes at the Flight Centre Burleigh Pro Surf Festival 2018!

In what’s certain to be an epic four days of surfing, the event returns to the point with more on offer than ever before: more food carts, more coffee, more live tunes, more movies, and more of your favourite pro surfers tearing the bag out of the iconic righthander.

The top male and female surfers from a predicted nine countries will descend on the WQS 1000 event just in time for the Australia Day long weekend, each chasing points and perhaps even a podium finish, when the event kicks off January 25.

Over the years, Surfing Queensland CEO Adam Yates has seen the event gain momentum, and says they are excited to bring the festival back for 2018.

"The Burleigh Pro has always been one of the biggest and most exciting events on the Surfing Queensland calendar. This year we have made some major changes to the site precinct as well as adding lots of entertainment that will really benefit both the competitors and the wider community."

Food Vendors and established bars for both general admin and fully serviced VIP corporate hospitality area will be set up for the 4 day festival, this includes: wandering bars + Cider Caravan + charcuterie plates + Acai bowls + coffee + popcorn + snowcones + Zambreros mexican + tipis + interactive entertainment + music + Under The Stars movie night + surfboard machine + skate displays + car displays and more to be announced.

Tickets are available here for those seeking the best seats in the house under the fully catered marquee. Or visit Surfing Australia for more information.
