Be One of the First to Surf the New Melbourne Wave Pool

COASTALWATCH | NEWS

It's the dawning of the age of the wave pool. In 18 months, surf conversation will probably be a little like when the Internet first hit Australia. Have you surfed the Internet yet? Have you surfed a wave pool yet?

And the first wave park that'll be open to the public is this Wave Garden/Wave Cove designed, URBNSURF operated pool coming to Melbourne early next year.

In preperation for opening day, URBNSURF Melbourne have launched a campaign to offer future locals a chance to contribute their thoughts, ideas and feedback about what's planned for the inland surf spot, as part of an online focus group.

In exchange for completing the focus group, they'll be rewarding each participant with a free double pass valued at up to $160 to redeem for surf sessions or surf lessons at URBNSURF Melbourne once they open in early 2019.

It's the first time they've offered passes to anyone, which means the surfers selected will be amongst the first to ride the freaking thing.

So if you're in Melbs or can get there easily, you might as well throw your hat in the ring to surf it. To go in the running to be a part of the group, just fill out their 2-minute screening survey over here
