Forecast Issued Tuesday, July 10, 2018

If you happen to be jumping on a plane bound for Indonesia this week it’s pretty safe to say you’ll need to pack your step-up board. The Indian Ocean is alive with multiple storm-systems this week – and by the looks of the long range forecast you’ll be wanting the biggest Indo gun you have in your quiver to tackle what’s in store for mid-July. The evolution of what’s could end up being the biggest swell-event since the early season swell back in April is starting to take shape, lending increasing confidence to the arrival of a large to heavy, long-period S groundswell across the entire Archipelago. So if you’re inclined to target such groundswells, it’s probably time to start putting all your ducks in a row and get over there.
