Pipeline 13:45 Local Hawaiian Time - A crowd of about 60 surfers and bodyboarders scratch for the outside. A fresh 8'-12' NNW swell, fanned by NE Trade winds, arrived overnight.

Pipeline 13:58 Local Hawaiian Time - A gloomy, overcast day produced rain squalls on and off for most of the day. Nobody in or out of the water cared. An early afternoon, late grab rail take-off.

Pipeline 14:00 Local Hawaiian Time - The trade winds played the game perfectly and fanned the surf to perfection. Although the crowd got hectic at times, the vibe was semi relaxed.

A new NNW swell hit the rock. Sunset was a clean 8-10 ft with only 10 - 20 guys out max. Pipeline was easily 10ft and sometimes 12 The Bay even had a few. Trade winds out of the NE were blowing.
