Tasmanian team returns from Country Energy Australia Surfing Festival

Tasmania's surfers who qualified through the 2009 State Titles series recently competed at the Country Energy Australian Surf Festival in Port Macquarie , NSW.
The event was mobile in the Port Macquarie area in waves ranging from 0.5-1 metre. Bruny Islands Kane Mcleod placed highest of any of the Tasmanian team finishing 3rd in the Over 35 Longboards.
Despite not achieving the same high placings of the previous year, the Tassie crew put in a solid performances.
