Live Surfing Continues On Fuel Tv.

FUEL TV will continue its coverage of live ASP World Tour surfing with all the action from the 2010 Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach.

FUEL TV will deliver LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage of yet another local surfing event this year with coverage this week of the Rip Curl Pro from Bells Beach in Victoria.

It’s the second stop on the tour and the world’s best surfers are primed to take to the Southern Ocean swells near Torquay with their eyes fixed firmly on the infamous Bell trophy.

FUEL TV’s LIVE television broadcast commences with the opening heat on the first day of competition and will continue until the event winner is crowned.

Reigning World Champion Mick Fanning and defending Bells champion Joel Parkinson will be leading the Aussie charge for the famous local event, but the Coolangatta pair will face tough competition from their challengers in what is shaping up as arguably the most open world title race on record.
Adam Howarth, FUEL TV Australia Channel Manager, said FUEL TV was looking forward to bringing another dose of quality live surfing to Australian surf fans.
“"Fuel TV has been able to put quite a few live surfing events to air over the last few months and the response we've had from this live coverage has been insane,” said Howarth.

“This all started last October with the Rip Curl Search event from Portugal. The interest level exploded after that event,” he said.

“We are very excited about partnering with Rip Curl once again to deliver live coverage of the Bells comp - one of the world’s most iconic surfing events."

The competition window for the 2010 Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach opens tomorrow (Tuesday 30 March). FUEL TV’S coverage of the event is available to both FOXTEL and AUSTAR subscribers.
