Episode Two Of Kustom's Landscape Altered

29 Apr 2010 0 Share

The second instalment of Kai Neville's four-part Landscape Altered webisode series was launched today exclusively on www.kustomairstrike.com and Coastalwatch.

Landscape Altered documents the antics of Mitch Coleborn, Clay Marzo, Jay Davies, Josh Kerr and Chippa Wilson as they punt their way around the Mentawai Islands, in the hope of landing the most spectacular aerial seen.

Kustom Airstrike is offering a US$50,000 cash prize for the surfer who nails the biggest and most progressive aerial manoeuvre during the eight-month competition window, which runs through to August 31.

The vision in episode two is dramatic both in terms of the quality of the production and the level of surfing.

“We knew that the combination of Kai Neville and the surfers that we pulled together for this project was a potent one" said Harry Truscott, General Manager of Kustom Footwear.“

"Episode One blew the doors off our expectations and Episode Two keeps up the same pace for sure. For a three-minute episode, it packs real punch, and we're sure everyone out there is going to be amped on it" Truscott said.

Episode one set the scene for the trip and introduced us to the surfers, while the second episode shows us the majesty of the location and how hard these young guys pushed each other in the surf.

“They really open up in this one, and the level of surfing is crazy. It is compulsive viewing and we can’t wait to see where Kai takes us in future episodes.”

But the Landscape Altered crew aren’t the only ones blowing minds at the moment. Entries continue to roll in to the contest website, which is providing surfers everywhere with a window to surfing's future.
