The Belt - An extreme film festival

THE BELT provides film makers the opportunity to get their film screen at THE BELT Film Festival and broadcast on FUEL TV as part of THE BELT TV Program

THE BELT – an extreme Film Festival is for action & adventure sports athletes and filmmakers / videographers.

We want you and your mates to create and produce your own short action sports and adventure films, telling your stories with your action!

Entries must be a maximum of 7 minutes long and be from any action or adventure sport. You can film it on any equipment, from your old Super 8 or 16mm through to the latest Contour HD cameras and other HD camera equipment.

We also want you to help launch Music for Film & TV careers by providing the platform for artists and film makers to collaborate on you film entry. Visit the Music for Film section and search for artists to produce fresh and unique music for your film.

Entries are open to everybody, everywhere, and our judging panel will select the top 12 films to be featured at our Film Festival night on 12 February 2012.

All winners and a selection of finalists will have the opportunity to be included in THE BELT TV program.

As well as getting broadcast to a national audience there is over $20,000 in cash and prizes to be won in the following categories:
•    Best Overall
•    Best Action
•    Best Story
•    Best Music

Winner of Overall Best Film secure a $5,000 contract to produce an action/adventure segment for FUEL TV with one of their Producers mentoring you!
