The final week’s of the southern hemisphere winter are shaping up as a typically energetic period in wave-activity across Indonesia – so it’s high time to get over there, if you haven’t already. This weekend provides another great reason to do just that as yet another powerful round of long-period SSW groundswell moves in under moderate south-easterly tradewinds. This episode looks like coming to a head on Saturday, but it will keep delivering incrementally smaller surf for several days hence – and it’s clear there’s more in the swell-tank leading into the second half of next week and the weekend of Saturday 17th August.
