Ever dreamed of working at Coastalwatch and assisting with the daily maintenance of our surf cameras? This could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. We're currently searching for a new Camera Technician, so if you have the skills we want to meet you! 

JOB TITLE: Coastalwatch Camera Technician
EMPLOYMENT: Full-Time

Coastalwatch is currently seeking an experienced CCTV/Security Camera System Technician to assist with the installation & Maintenance of Live web camera systems in NSW,VIC, SA, WA.

The successful applicant must possess an ACMA/ASIAL Open or Restricted Cabling License (preferably with Coaxial, Fibre & Structured Cabling Competencies) and a NSW Security Equipment Installer's License (Class 2BC).

Experience with the Installation of IP based CCTV Security Cameras and wireless receiver/Transmitter units as well as a knowledge of TCP/IP Ethernet Systems is a requirement as is a knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 (or higher) Operating Systems.

Additionally the ability provide quality documentation at the completion of each job is essential as is the ability to follow WH&S Principles.

In addition to the above requirements, the following Additional Skills will be looked favourable. Experience with IP Based Video Management Systems (e.g. DVTEL, Milestone, etc.), possession of an Elevated Work Platform License, possession of Construction Industry White Card and possession of a First Aid Certificate.

NSW Drivers License essential. Sydney Northern Beaches based position.
