Good Friday was a great Friday down at Bells this year. The crew at Modom Surf & Surfing World Magazine got together to host an awesome fundraiser for the Disabled Surfers Association. It was an A-lister event with everyone from the World Surf League pro surfers & commentators rubbing shoulders with industry leaders & locals as well as the boys from Balter beer who provided their amber refreshments for the crowd.

It wasn't all about good food, tunes, and mates, up for auction was a series of iconic images featuring some of the countries most influential shapers including Simon Anderson, Darren Handley and Bob Mctavish to name a few. The incredibly honest and insightful photographs were shot by Steve Baccon for his soon to be released book “Surf Craft”.

Bidding was as fierce as Carissa Moore and Courtney Conlogue's paddle battle with an impressive result of just under $4,000 for the DSA. Bells always throws good parties, but a party with a purpose, we like that!
