The Sunshine Coast Gets A Brand New Surf Cam

COASTALWATCH PLUS | NEWS

Coastalwatch is stoked as to announce the launch of a new live surf cam on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

Exclusive to Coastalwatch Plus members is a new surf cam at Dicky Beach, just north of Caloundra and Moffat Beaches.

Did you know that Dicky Beach was named after an iron steamboat, the SS Dicky, which ran aground during a big swell in 1893? That makes it the only beach in the world to be named after a shipwreck. What does that have to do with being able to check the conditions live on Coastalwatch Plus? Nothing, really. But if you're on CW+ you can check it now anyway.

Check the new Dicky Beach Surf Cam now!
