Craig Sims – the former South African pro, then surf media publisher, now Bond University academic – is conducting research about generational change media choice. The first of four studies drops this week, and if you complete the short survey you’ll go into a draw to win one of two Firewire boards. If you agree to a short follow-up interview, you go into a second draw to win one of two Rip Curl Next Tide watches.

This survey is open to Australian surfers aged 15 years or older, and runs from August 8 to October 11 2019. It will ask about your surfing content needs, where you source your content from, and why you choose to use those sources. It will only take 10 minutes to complete, and your responses will help surf media publishers as well as businesses associated with surfing to understand the effects of the changing media landscape on the media choices of different generational groups.

Your personal data will be kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone.
