Jason Stevenson breaks down the most popular board in the JS Industries range – the Monsta Box 2020 – and explains exactly how it works.

A sleek good looking performance board for average waves (ie, Tokyo 2021), the clip has the JS team of Ryan Callinan, Julian Wilson, Joel Parkinson, Dingo Morrison, Dusty Payne Luke Egan, Freddy Morais and Mateus Herdy show what it can do at an elite level, while JS himself gets some neat tubes at the Tullamarine pool on his. “It’s why I design and redesign boards,” says Stevenson. “I want it to go faster, want it to paddle better, want it to turn easier – there’s three things every single surfer in the world looks for in a surfboard, and that’s what we do.”
