Northern Beaches Weekly Update - September 13, 2010

14 Sep 2010 0 Share

Not a bad week at all along the Northern Beaches. Very strong offshore winds on Fathers' Day coupled with some quality waves would have had many Dad's out there smiling.

I was left with some nice images from last weekend, but a little more sand inside my cameras than I would have liked.

Hurley Pro
Hurley Pro: The event fired up this morning with some amazing surfing. Some new-age mental aerial antics mixed nicely with some good old power turns. Check it all out tomorrow morning (early) on the website or on FuelTV. They even have a snazzy iphone app, so you can watch it while you're getting a coffee or waiting for the bus.

Chilli Sale
Chilli Sale: the crew at Chilli Surfboards are having a sale. No better time to grab yourself a deal on a hot new pepper. Starts 24th Sept at 9am. So start saving. Check their website for details.

Double Rainbow
Double Rainbow: Some people just get super excited over things life throws at them. Some cry, some laugh, some even scream. Then there is this guy... Don't do drugs.

Looks like an interesting week of waves ahead of us. Waves tomorrow, and waves again later in the week. Big waves, angry waves, waves you should get to know.

Have a great week. Enjoy the swell.

Cheers,
AL.
