VQS - Avalon Beach, Saturday Decemver 17, 2011

With the alarm set for an early start, a quick cup of coffee was the perfect treat to get things started. The turn out was good, with frothing grommets excited to get things underway. The conditions were good for all, with 2-3 foot left and rights coming through the south end. North Av was going off as well, with all the boys sneaking down the beach in between heats to score a couple of gems. The stand outs included local 12 year old Darcy Crump who placed 2nd in the grommets and Beau Foster who took out the opens.

Jackson Carey Won the juniors and a hefty check for move of the day.

All and all Volcom put on a sick event that I'm sure everyone enjoyed. Congrats to all the winners. Good ripping by everyone. Peace.
