Reelers – Surfing World’s first Short Surf Film Competition – has entered it’s final month for entries so now is the time to get together with your buddies, shoot a bunch of surf, cut it into a 3-minute clip and upload it onto the Reelers competition page into one of our three creative categories.

That’s what Jimmy Jazz James did. He submit his short film Freedom, Expression & Limitless Possibilities about Bryce Young shredding on asymmetrical surfboards into the Reelers Story Category – which is presented by Corona and judged by Mr Momentum himself Taylor Steele. Heck yeah!

Other categories include Action, presented by Nikon and judged by Mr Cluster Kai Neville, and Youth (open to film makers 21-under) presented by Goal Zero and judged by Mr Blue Horizon Jack McCoy.

Further to that there’s a $5000 Coastalwatch Plus Audience Award to be won by the film voted most popular on CW. That’s votes not views, so once your movie is on the competition page get onto your buddies, pets and long lost family members to back your flick by casting a vote.

Reelers closes September 1, 2015, so don’t delay another moment. There’s $20,000 up for grabs, but you’ve got to be in it to win it.
