Reelers, Surfing World’s first Short Film Competition, is in the home straight with only 21 days left to shoot, edit and submit your entry here.

Wade Carroll and Kai Hing just dropped a sweet little rockabilly number titled Mum’s in a Band in the Action category (presented by Nikon and judged by Kai Neville) and if you want to scope a moment of pure, undiluted authentic punk anarchy just get yourself to 1:13 and let fly with a rebel yell.

There’s $15,000 up for grabs across three creative categories including Action, Youth presented by Goal Zero and judged by Jack McCoy and Story presented by Corona and judged by Taylor Steele. In addition to that there is also a Coastalwatch Plus Audience Award for the film voted by the public as the best.

In other words, get your film in ASAP and get your pals to vote that chron up!

Time’s a wasting’ peoples, don’t miss out!
