After the consistent pristine conditions of April, May has been a very mixed bag here at Hudhuranfushi in the Maldives. There’s been plenty of swell, waves every day in fact, but the wind has been making life difficult with too many days of S/SW cross/on-shores limiting our options to the most sheltered breaks of jails and Sultans.

Lohis has still been fun every day, but we’ve not had many of the perfect, sheet glass days that we were almost taking for granted for the previous two months! The best days of the month were at the start and finish of the month with some great sessions at Sultans. Our guests have still been thoroughly enjoying themselves, especially the evening sessions before sunset drinks on the Lohis deck! Not really much to think about but surf, sunsets and good times in paradise.
