The Sunnyboys or Xavier Rudd by an epic Maldivian righthander?

Back in 2010 Northern Beaches based travel company The Perfect Wave made a conscious decision to channel a percentage of their marketing resources into unique tailored surf travel.

The Perfect Wave’s marketing manager Ben Horvath said, “We sensed the time was right to start creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Barton and Holly Lynch have made some lifetime friends on their Signature Series Maldives boat charters. BL does 3 or 4 specialised signature trips open to fans annually as well as his unique BL’s Blast Off event in Bali with The Perfect Wave.

Perfect Wave have offered legends trips with Occy, Barton Lynch, Pam Burridge and Anthony Walsh for years.

In 2020 new additions to the roster are Shane Dorian and Layne Beachley.

In 2013 Perfect Wave launched the incredibly popular Surf Music In Paradise concert series.

SMIP, the brainchild of Horvath and TPW CEO Jamie Gray has featured names like Donavon Frankenreiter, Tex Perkins, Phil Jamieson, Pete Murray, Bernard Fanning, Jimmy Barnes, The Hoodoo Gurus and Ocean Alley to name a few.

Surf and music combined in a weekly package in the Maldives, is such a mouth watering concept.

The Holiday Inn, Kandooma Resort is an incredible beachside venue overlooking one of the Maldives best surf breaks.

The venue is ideal for singles, couples and families, surfers and non surfers. There’s kids club, day spas, diving, multiple pools and restaurants for all tastes.

Numbers are strictly capped to ensure all gigs are intimate, almost private beach party style events to ensure it is a genuine once-in-a-lifetime experience.

We are talking about large Australian and indeed international acts who regularly sell out major venues,  so how good must this concept be for such acts to jump at the chance to play to a deliberately capped number of fans lounging on beanbags or dancing barefoot on a magical island in the middle of the Indian Ocean?

Sunnyboys are locked in to play Surf Music In Paradise at Kandooma Surf Resort in the Maldives this September 2020.

Nothing evokes memories or flashes to highlight life moments like music.

Nothing can transport you back to your favourite surf lifestyle moments with friends and associates like the soundtrack to a fabulously mispent youth surfing and partying.

Nothing will take you back like the right pairing of surfing in the Maldives with friends and a pumping Sunnyboys soundtrack.

Xavier Rudd is also playing an SMIP week in June. Tix available here: http://bit.ly/2pjnwi7
