High Season Is Here And The Mentawaiis Are Firing!

COASTALWATCH | WORLD SURFARIS

As high season begun there was an noticable increase in quality swell events and the Mentawais islands were constantly hit by several different swells which provided great surf all month long.

Taking advantage of the islands microclimate and the easy mobility of being on a boat we moved according to the forecast, adapting our coordinates to the wind conditions for choosing the best surf spot, always in place to get the best tide and favourable wind to each wave.

Guests on board Moon Palikir were always at the right place at the right time to make the most of these swell events.  Moon Palikir is also one of four epic trips we are giving away for the Golden Passport competition: Click here to enter.

World Surfaris and Coastalwatch have banded together to bring you the best prize you’ve ever laid your eyeballs on. Four awesome surf trips for you and a mate over 12 unforgettable months!
