There's no denying the Beater Board is one of THE most fun surf craft around. They recreate play in the water and are a great summer board to muck around on. Just ask Jamie O'Brien, the guy doesn't even surf normal boards anymore, choosing to spend maxing out Hawaiian winter days at Pipe casually dropping down ten-foot faces on his signature series.

The crew in South Oz and Catch Surf decided to give those Hawaiian conditions and shories a run. So they held the Beater Bash at Knight's Beach. This is how it all turned out. If you can get hold of a Beater before summer is done, you won't regret it.
