Cloudless skies, 19 degree crystal clear water, light offshore westerly winds and three feet of long straight-lined easterly swell with bigger sets. Sounds like South East Queensland in Winter. Wednesday 6th July was one such day. It was low tide early and as the tide rose the swell it picked up a bit more and got some more push behind it. There wasn’t a drop of water out of place and it was a morning of fun waves from Sunshine to Snapper.
Coastalwatch videographer Craig Halstead headed across the Seaway to sample the action…
