Jackson Close is a Coastalwatch Plus member and charger in the Gold Coast surf community. He is a real waterman, embracing and excelling at every surf craft. Born and bred on the Gold Coast, he's now married with two kids and works tirelessly as a self-employed electrician.

Earlier in his life, he racked up a couple of incredible results as an athlete and competitive waterman. He was the Australian Junior Longboard Champion, three times Australian Open Longboard Champion, four times Australian SUP Champion and came second in the 2014 ISA World SUP Titles.
