The World Champ is in town a month early and he is shredding!

Just six weeks to the day since John John claimed the 2017 World Title, the champ was in town Tuesday and doing laps of the Snapper bank with signature world class rail work. It's five and a half weeks until day 1 of event 1 of the 2018 CT – the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast (March 11) –so it is unseasonably early for a non-Australian CT level surfer to be hanging out in Coolangatta and getting some hours in, even if it is for an apparent two-day hit and run mission.
