40 Places That Had Amazing Waves Last Weekend
COASTALWATCH | SWELL DIARY
Well, that certainly was one weekend to remember. The East Coast had not one, but two distinct swell-trains that conspired to produce clean, mid-sized surf across all regions of this great country of ours, spanning regions as far and wide as southern Queensland in the north to Eden in the south.
Similarly, Victoria benefited from a multitude of swell sources that delivered a series of overlapping pulses of SW groundswell – the largest of which is actually due to hit tomorrow (Wednesday 19). Finally, the West Coast also experienced the usual, relentless run of mid to large SW groundswell.
